Bangkok Market & A Protest

So this is the Bangkok streets. It’s usually not this busy but the protest brings a lot of traffic. The vendors were loving it. For those of you who don’t know what’s going on I’ll simplify it: crooked leaders, rigged voting system, people don’t like it, they want reform, they want to shut down the capital (Bangkok). We walked by the protest. We were not by the main part of it which consists of people sitting down in the middle of the streets. Intersections were blocked off and cars were pissed. Taxi drivers won’t go anywhere near the protest so we walk everywhere. It’s nice…. I haven’t bought a lot of things yet. Just some laundry soap and a new wallet (it has DRAGONS!). In one of these pictures you’ll see a bridge. If you follow that bridge you eventually will run into the protest. Yesterday (1/17/14) there was a bomb that injured a few dozen people. None of us were hurt so don’t worry. Today we are going to the other side of the town to the Saturday Sunday Market, I’ll have pictures later. Minds Open, Hearts Close, Bellies Full!
